What's the best primary to use with the sticky jumper now?

I used to use the bootlegger since it gave the 10% move speed which atleast made the sticky jumper demo playable.

Now that it can only be used with a shield to get the move speed increase is there any other better weapon to use?

Well, anything is more playable than the boots with sticky jumper. You're relying on melee. And without a shield melee is a joke. Use the grenade launcher, iron bomber, or loch-n-load.

I can use grenades thank you, but sometimes I like a bit of fun.

And the bootlegger used to help this.

I've been trying the iron bomber as anti-sentry and is seems to work quite well since they stay where you shoot them making it easier to kill sentries while jumping.

The only reason I sorta disagree with the iron bomber/loose cannon, is that they can be used for jumping. So in a sense that makes them good shield material while not having nearly as good synergy with the sticky jumper.

Every time I try this, the entire enemy team is heavy/medic + pyros.

Try Iron Bomber. The new change make it feel more alike to the stickybomb launcher, which might help in some situations.
