Quickplay Fix Mod

I feel like I need to show you all this mod, since everyone keeps asking for Quickplay.
This mod by Sot_56 adds the Quickplay feature, nothing more, nothing less. Yes, it'll put you on community servers instead since Valve has no official pub servers now, but it's the exact same as before. All you need to do is set up the mod, go in game, click the cog on the gamemode screen, and choose 'Community server' or 'Any server'. That's it.

Why is no one noticing these, I along with a few other people have been trying to spread this arround but people are too busy wanting to be angry it seems. We give them a solution and they still choose to be mad.

Because, as the OP stated, it puts you on a community server, not a Valve server. I don't mind community servers when I'm in the mood for some prop hunt or saxton hale, but when I just want some good old-fashioned vanilla pub, I don't voluntarily seek out community servers with advertisements, !rtd, norespawntimes, donator perks, and other obnoxious modifications.

I appreciate what Valve is trying to do, but I just want my old public servers back. They weren't perfect, but I guess you don't know what you have until it's gone :\

Skial servers are nearly perfect, but they force you to listen to max-volume ads, with no option to mute the ads. They get money either way; why do we have to hear the damn things?

Community servers? The ones that automatically kick me because I have html disabled and I refuse to watch their unskippable ads.

Again, not all community servers are bad - you might be pleasantly surprised by a couple of them. There may even be servers dedicated to replicating Valve pub servers in the future - that's just a guess though.

Maybe I'll just have to suck it up and realize that servers DO cost money to run. Maybe if Skial servers are 100% vanilla (minus ads) then I should go support them...
