" You are in insecure mode ..." Error
Problem : "You are in insecure mode. You must restart before you can connect to secure servers."
I made a clean install after format and this problem showed up this morning. I tried ;
- deleting custom file even I had nothing in it.
- putting " - autoexec" to clean my config file even I didn't even choose my game resolation yet
- removing some tf2 files and downloading them again to sure I have everything right .
- be sure to this account in guard by my mobile

I started to play this game in 2007 ( this is not my main account btw ) and this was the first time I got this error. I remember people likes to help others in TF2 community and I need your help now. Please help me to fix this problem , thanks .

It shows green to TF2 which I belive it means I allowed to TF2 to use internet and update stuff. It looks same as cs:go so I don't think firewall is the problem

Try using -secure in launch options.

I did that several times. It didn't work even if I just open training maps .

I deleted TF2 from my harddrive and install it to another hard drive. It fixed my problem. Thank you for trying to help me.

Maybe your computer became sentient and saw you were insecure, and since it detected emotion it went into an error mode.

type -insecure into launch options, launch tf2, quit, then type -secure into launch options

Ok I found a fix kinda
Open steam first
Open it from steam library
Don't exit during loading screens

Do we have a solution to this problem yet?

A patch,or a method which actually usefull.

I've tried almost everything i guess.
