However I'm a bit dissapointed. It seems like they've completely abandoned 9V9, which is a comp gamemode I feel like I would have enjoyed more then a strict 6V6. Also no class and weapon restrictions? Really? 6V6 is supposed to be a refined version of TF2, it needs class and weapon restrictions or else it isn't really fun... I can't wait for the 6 scout control point rush or the three engies defending the point on a koth map...whoopie....
Can these be new taunts
I'm gonna have some fun with crit-a-cola.
Yea I agree, hopefully they will add 9V9's in the nearby future.
Does anyone know if they got rid of that thing that forced players to have all of the same graphics settings and what-not? That was something I found really annoying in the beta.
Yea, but I feel like Overwatch was built entirely on the idea of having a competetive mode. So they built all of the heros around being able to function in a comp environment. When TF2 was made over 9 years ago comp wasn't a consideration and the classes were built around a casual expereince. Which is why 3rd party comps had weapon/class restrictions. So it's going to be really hard and time consuming for the TF team to balance all of the classes/weapons around a comp playstyle. Which is why I was somewhat surprised they aren't going for the weapon/class restrictions for the 6V6.
