Tf2 for the xbox

What are your thoughts on the xbox 360 port of tf2 if you have it. I like it because its so buggy and fun to mess around in (They havent updated it at all). But after playing a bit i started wondering why tf2 wasnt on the next gen consoles i mean they could just realease it as a free to play title and make more money.

Of course PC master race and all and it will never be as good as the PC port but you would think valve would explore this untapped market. (untapped as in they can make money but they havent)

Team Fortress 2 is a PC game only ment to be play on the PC. Playing on any other platform would be a mess for Valve. They would have to split the profits, of the Mann Co. items bought, with Sony/Microsoft.

I firmly believe that they should stop development and distribution of TF2 on Steam and port it to the PlayStation Vita.

but wouldnt profit still be profit and if it got popular enough maybe valve would focus a bit more on tf2 just saying.

just to point this out sense the OP is giving me the impression that he/she doesn't know this but TF2 already does have an Xbox 360 port problem with it is that it's completely vanilla no Updates no nothing it's the beginning days of the PC port but will never get past that point

that's because you have to be Xbox Gold to even play it and not many Xbox 360 owners go Gold.

Heard of TF2 Classic? That might be a good way to get your fix of original TF2 on the PC without having to deal with the underpopulated servers of 360 TF2.

have you even played or seen videos of the 360 version of TF2 it's full of bugs that were patched out long ago for the PC version

I thought TF classic was the old tf, the one that was a mod to quake

Nah it's based on a leaked branch of 2007 TF2, so while it does try to emulate TF Classic (two extra classes, old maps and weapons, etc), it is mechanically "original TF2," one without hats, taunts or airblast.
