Taunting after kill
So most people will agree that taunting after kill is a bit childish and stupid. But what about some awesome kills? Like, if I airshot kill a Soldier with a reflected Direct Hit rocket, is it okay for me to taunt

I'll do what I want anyway, I'm just curious of your opinions.

It is called a "taunt" for a reason.

If you want to, taunt

Taunting is meant to annoy, anger, TAUNT the enemy.
Believe it or not, but it can be used strategically.
Pissed off enemy is a predictable enemy.

Believe it or not, I do use it strategically. I've killed countless enemied whom I've tricked and angered by taunting

Definitely. Who wouldn't want to mock their enemies for such a pathetic death by your hands? lol

Especially when you've got the Schadenfreude taunt. When I use it I just stare at the chat waiting for some salty comment

ikr? When the spy tries (and fails) to trickstab me the third time. I kill him again and taunt his ass with the "meet the medic" taunt. The message is clear.
I am awesome.
You are dead.
That is good.
The end.

yeah totally 101% true story totally happened
I rarely taunt after killing an enemy.
Why would I open myself to attacks for a few seconds just to piss someone off? Maybe if I'm hellbent on making someone feel bad for whatever reason. It gets cringy if you unironically do it after every kill.

I don't use taunts, not my style..... besides I am useless at killing people skillfully ( my excuse is having REALLY bad framerates when playing usually ) The only time I actually wish I had taunted.... was as I turned some smug sniper into a crisp just as he started his taunt. Perfect TF2 pyro moment. I just hope my team mate got to enjoy the view too.
Cagrimanoka May 26, 2016 @ 2:43am
Schadenfreude as Spy, your enemy will pick pyro with 85% chance. (Strategy works here, guys.)
Tauting is here to annoy players.
To TAUNT them.
I always laugh when spy does some poor try with trickstab that of course won't work on me
