Damage numbers
So I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the console commands for the damage numbers above enemy players. I do have them enabled of course, but they don't seem to add up, plus they're very small and red, so I can't see them very clearly. Is it possible to Mae them larger, a different colour and make it so they add up over a bigger amount of time?

Don't think you can change the size of the text bro.

Doesn't that only toggle it off/on?

HUD colours and fonts can't be changed without modding the HUD

As for damage numbers themselves:

hud_combattext 0/1 - turns the damage text above enemies off/on
hud_combattext_batching 0/1 - turns the damage text above players adding together within a 0.10s interval off/on
hud_combattext_batching_window - any number up to and including 2.0 are accepted, time in seconds for above. Only for above == 1.
hud_combattext_healing 0/1 - turns the healed text above teammates off/on
hud_combattext_doesnt_block_overhead_text 0/1 - turns overwriting the particle effects used for critical hits and mini-crits off/on

no matter what I do, the numbers don't add up. What am I doing wrong?

hud_combattext_batching 1
hud_combattext_batching_window (How long you want it to wait before making a fresh number)
It will reset if you damage another player

Is there a way to make the DMG numbers add up, large, and yellow? Like a certain editing?

There's an option in advanced options to enable that.

If you want large damage numbers you can download a HUD. I use a hud which keeps your HUD the exact same as the default HUD but the only changes are healing numbers and big yellow damage numbers. I think it's called modded default HUD?
