Whats the state of TF2 today?

I want to collect some opinions on what everyone else thinks about TF2's current state. Updates, Community, Trading, ect.

Updates are ok and need to keep coming, Community is mostly cancer and salt and people spamming lenny faces and REKT and Tryhards quite a lot on hightower,Trading is ok,and the other stuff is ok.

Hm, it's stable, to say the least. Overall I'm personally kinda bored of it, but only because maybe I've played too much of it.

Although, I can say that the updates I personally feel have become stagnated. Too many 'pay 6 bucks and get into this community update to unlock more crates-not-crates!' It's just kinda old now. Though the game that's still around is okay, for the most part.

I will say that the recent balance changes are nice, didn't have many of those for a good year until recently. But content wise, it feels lacking. And the community is grouchy, annoying, and sometimes elitist.

In the updates department, i think we need one of the two most hyped of the updates, mayann or iron gauntlet. In the community, honestly, its pretty decent, and the problem is mostly the sarcastic @$$holes who keep yelling that "the community is toxic, tf2 is ded". Trading is pretty good, escrow is seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the traders up the @$$. so thats my report.

Valve doesn't want Overwatch to kill this game because it's still making them money, so they finally woke up and started paying attention to the community like they did 2 years ago.

I'm not on the side of people saying TF2's gonna die because of Overwatch, buuuuuuuut... Overwatch iiiiiiiis coming out next week so it might have something to do with all these good updates all of a sudden.

Technically it's not coming out till the end of next month. The open beta is next week.

Yeah but that still means a ton more people going to the game, and still a possible influence on Valve.

10,000 SCUMBAG CHEATERS bit the dust and were banned yesterday. Including over a hundred compeitive players.

A major cheat has been (temporarily) slayed in a major way.

Updates are cool, atleast to me, anyways, like remember that invasion one? everyone complained about it just reskins and cosmetics and some maps but I liked it

Community: uhh I mean it's pretty bad, you know free games and such

Trading: uhh cool i guess idk

My current state of being: y'know, pretty cool and stuff, like I had some spaghetti for dinner so that was cool

Market: I can't sell stuff so that kinda sucks
