tf2 - sniper scope no black border? allowed or not?

so i was watching youtube and saw a video where Hamaji Neo Gaming had no black border. after doing some research i found this http://tf2.gamebanana.com/gamefiles/3968 and it seems to just tweak the HUD, though i don't want to be breaking any rules to get myself a VAC ban foot up my ass.

so is removing the black border allowed or not?

You still have to aim yourself. I really doubt it would be bannable.

i assume it'll give you an advantage since you can see much more without it, so i'd say don't do it

but would it be a vac ban? i did read somewhere that valve says not to mess with anything besides the hud and small things but this is a hud tweak. i do need an advantage as well because i run tf2 usually with a ping at 500 or more making it impossible.

Moral rule

Volvo doesnt ban you for hud tweaking as it is part of "customs" and is not a cheating program like lamebox or nutcorecheese.However,since it is a part of "customs".It wont work on volvo servers

I don't think it's bannable, but it's kind of scummy anyways. I'm also pretty sure that matchmaking servers don't allow it, so you'll be screwing yourself over if you ever hope to go that route.
