Your Opinion on the MatPat Deadlock TF2 VS Overwatch Situation?

So, basically, this video here:

has stirred up loads of controversy for neither of the people doing any research and pulling up random, stupid and completely wrong.

For example, one of the reasons is that MatPat said one of the reasons that Overwatch is better is that it nearly every merc is a white male.

I know it's so dman cringeworthy, but just watch the video for more awful points.

It is clear that they haven't played either of these games at all.

I watched this yesterday, some of the points raised are good but most of the overwatch points are crap, '6v6 encourages better team play', for one, overwatch is mainly like bastion + mercy, or should I say, Heavy + medic, vs everyone else, but two, TF2 comp is 6v6 and the notorious highlander is as well. I have ctrl+c-ed this for any future Matpat anti cringe.

There were about 4 posts talking about it here, 1000 posts on /r/tf2, and 10000000 comments hating on Matpat.
Even though I find the video crigneworthy and I lost all my remaining respect to matpat.

MatPat gave the pope a game that was on sale for $5 at the time as his gift from "gamers". Do people even take him this seriously anymore. He said some things about a game and another game. Everyone says things about games, he's not special.

Well if your a huge Youtuber like him, and have a job in real life. It would make sense you would only have time to play for a few minutes, or hours. Obviously they don't know everything about the game (Pro Mechanics and such.) But they provide enough information for the average user to understand, or some random person.

Most of their debates are kind of dumb anyway, I saw one on Nintendo Wii Motion Controls VS Regular ones with Reggie (Faceplam.) Most of these debates make almost no sense, or when they do, barley provide all the information all of us "pro's" know who have been playing the game for a long time.

Just thought it was intresting to mention that's all.

He has a job, yet he's managed to play all the entirety of Undertale, and that came out last year, so if anything, he should have been able to play TF2.

Still though, it's his fault for not doing any research.

Yeah, I kinda lost all respect for him then. I personally dislike Undertale (don't like the style of game for a start) and I hate the hype around it. And then he goes and gives it to the pope. Doesn't he have better things to do? I mean, he is the pope.

The main reason every goes against him was how factually incorrect both of their aguments were.
