Will kills on other weapons count to a professional killstreak?

no, thats only possible if you have a PROF KS COSMETIC NOT WEAPON, say for example you had a PROF KS team captain, and killed 10 people with both your shotgun and rocket launcher, youll get the effect on your eyes with all weapons by then, this is how it works, i think..

Guys, stop fooling him. Yes, if you get 5 kills with your Rocket Launcher (As long as it's killstreak as well), you'll get the effects on the Shotgun while using it. Killstreak affects all weapons, not only the weapon you got the streak with.

If you have a killstreak weapon, each kill for any of the killstreak weapons counts towards your total killstreak. This means that any effects will be active on 5 and 10 killstreaks no matter what weapon you killed with. If you kill 3 people with rockets and 2 people with your shotgun, you will have a total KS of 5 and both of your KS weapons will show their effects. It doesn't matter if one weapon is normal or spec. KS, it still works towards activating the weapon with the Professional effect.

alright ill explain it to you, this time more simpler

you have a professional killstreak shotgun, you killed 5 dudes with it, now you have eye effect, you swtiched to rocket launcher by mouse wheel (or ur binded button) the eye effect goes away, you switch back to shotgun and the eye effect is back, it only goes OFF when you die, in which you have to kill 5 dudes again to get it back

for normal killstreak weapons like the rocker launcher you mentioned you have, killing 5 dudes with it will trigger a server message annoucning YOU ARE ON KILLING SPREE, your secondary or melee however will not trigger this message if you killed 5 dudes with them because they dont have a normal killstreak on them too, there, easy?
