Idle/trade servers are cancer
they are useless, full of tryhards, cheaters, dumb kiddies paying for get vip, useless f2ps, made for contain the most unskillful players in the wolrd.
so what's the problem? that those servers are about the 50% of the community servers, why so many servers? maybe because half of the tf2 population is useless, annoying and unskillful ?

I used to go to those servers to dominate the skilless players for fun( but sometimes there are good players/traders on the trading server)
I dont have a problem with trade servers but idle servers? Not cancerous to me but they are kinda pointless besides for farming hales owns...

There are a few people who use trade servers for trading. But most of them advertise anywhere but trade servers.

Its where people afk there for free item drops, its also a strange farming server.
