TF2 Logs?
Does TF2 store any connection logs, profile IDs, game histories anywhere?

I recently was in a game where I strongly suspected somebody might be hacking (I got shot through a wall) with Sniper. This player was farming achievements and had no cosmetics equipped. They then came out and admitted they were hacking all nonchalantly claiming they were "investigating hacks for r/tf2"

Sherlock is on the case!

Apparently you can fell a tree in the forest for Valve to ignore I'd imagine unless it hits a certain threshold with a report button in the main menu under the play section but I don't see it. Pressing F7 does nothing. Extensive searching with steam search and I couldn't find the profile, or one with an alt listed that matched.

Does TF2 store any logs of clients anywhere?

If you reported them, that's enough.

It wouldn't matter now anyways.

Unless you report in game, nothing will be done.

For future reference, it's near the "Mute" menu button after you hit Esc in a match. Just report them through that, and that's all you have to do.

Yesterday I met a group of spinning players. The only thing they did was constantly spinning and randomly headshot every enemy coming at them. Probably some tryhards trying to get into FaZe?

I'm not even fully confident the in game report feature does anything seeing as how VAC is an automated system and Valve does not have many people hired on the TF2 team to check reports.

From what I've been reading over in the VAC forum, Valve is taking the reports more seriously and VAC has been better responding to reports to scan potential cheaters.

I think it was Jill that mentioned something about this right after MYM released?
