Set a Ping limit for match search?
Can we do this? One of the most important things when we used to choose servers to join was making sure the ping was good. My last two matches I was playing at 132 ping.

HAHAHAHAHA just 132 ping? Man you have it made... just the other day i was playing with 438 ping... Since i main a pyro.. airblasts were virtually useless

I'm in the midwest and for some reason there are times when I average 200+ on LA and TX servers. It sucks, but I still manage to play well enough to MVP and help my team. I think something blocking pings would completely muck my ability to get a single game, and I would be a sad mutherfricken panda.

Cap the ping limits at 200 (preferably 100 but...) and the world would be a much better place.

Uhhmm... create the file "autoexec.cfg" (Not autoexec.cfg.txt), put it in your Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg folder, then write these lines:
tf_matchmaking_ping_a 50
tf_matchmaking_ping_b 100
tf_matchmaking_ping_c 150
The maximum ping you'll get should be 150, even if it says you have 200 ping, you'll have a 150 ping experience... or your internet speed somehow dropped in the middle of the game.
(Unless if you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, I do not need to explain how to, like, "How do I set maximum ping to 5?"
