Yeah, but people are very mean on pubs. They would rather let the teams be "all bad players vs. all good players" rather than scrambling the teams. They also taunt after every time they kill me.
Not too sure about that...I get stoked about playing, and then I quit in either a rage or self-contempt.
Turn your sensitivity and your graphics settings down, and your volume up. Try to max performance and learn situational awareness.
I didn't know about the straging right when firing thing. I know about the sticky bomb attacks, though.
I'm usually running with the lowest possible video settings, but with my normal screen size, although I change it to 4:3 ratio sometimes. My sensitivity is made so I make a 360 when I go from one side of my mousepad to the other. I don't have mouse acceleration on, I do have raw input on, my FOV is 90 and my viewmodel FOV is 70.
Apart from reading guides and things like that, it helps to focus on a few classes instead of spreading yourself across all nine. Don't even bother learning Spy yet if you don't feel confident with a few of the other classes. He's very situational and is very advanced.
General awareness is important and you should be making a habit to check behind you often.
Playing on community servers can help since you're more likely to be on a team with more competent players. The other team might also be more competent, but you'll never improve if you only play against players of your own skill level or lower
Then there's the possibility you might just not be good at FPS games at all. In that case you might end up trying to main Engineer or Medic, since they rely less on combat and more on passive or indirect forms of fighting, and they're the most important when it comes to team support.
