Watch some trickster tutorials and swipez/StaryKrow. They may be disliked but you can't deny they're good trickstabbers.
Trickstabs, outside of matador stabs maybe, aren't really worth learning since they mainly rely on enemy being oblivious

Pretty sure matador stab in nutshell is going one way around opponent and change direction to opposite when they turn

They should have their back exposed If you angle yourself well enough

Get good at spy, easy as that.

Take note how most "epic better than swipez trick stab mlg compilations" happen on pubs and Degroot Keep, usually against obvious new players. This is because, beyond basic teqnique, most awesome trick stabs happen due to enemy inexperience.

Not calling trick stabs easy, they take tremendous practice to pull off. Trick stabs, beyond noobs in pubs and people who don't get tilted each casual match, won't often occure for the average TF2 spy. Thusly, it's much more wise to spend your time on better classes, preferably the generalists, than spy. You won't be nearly as frustrated and you'll be much more effective.

If you do want to learn how to trick stab, start with some of these basic videos.

**Keep in mind you won't learn and perform these overnight**

No.
Believe me they don’t help 80 thousand percent of the time.
Focus on the basics of spy, method acting with disguises, and learning the ins and outs of how he works.
When a pyro is chasing you down a trick stab isnt gonna help, but know how to use the spycile and cloak to make him loose track of you is.

#1: play sniper

You are now better in nearly every situation and don’t have to put yourself in danger every time you go for an instakill
