Better to keep keys or ref?

I havent played this game in a while and i saw that keys are dropping. Before they were always rising so it was bettter to keep keys. is this still the case?

Keys > Metal.

More people want keys then metal, You will most likely get an item with a key then the refined which add up to a key. I understand why you would want the metal now incease they keep decreasing and increase later.

Keys are 7.55-8.55 lately. I sold my keys for metal. Because that hats and miscs are rarely worth a key so most are 1.33-6 ref. I prefer metal over keys.

keys keep going up so i suggest buying them when they're cheap and then selling them 2-3 weeks later when they go up in price
