TF2 ERROR: Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.

I swear i'm gonna throw my PC out of the window...it's been two weeks now, i've tried anything but Team Fortress 2 won't start.

This is my game directory:
D:\Games\Steam\Steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\

I've tried to:
-verify the integrity -> every time takes forever, and it solves none.
-SDK to specify the directory -> none
-Hammer.bat and hamer.exe opened solves none
-uninstall and reinstall
-uninstall and reinstall in C:
-unistalled steam, reinstalled steam, re-ddownloaded TF2 in the common C: directory

If the issue is in path i've chosen i don't give a f*ck, because we're in 2014, and if i prefer to install a game on the D: drive i want to be able to do it for god's sake.

I've managed to make it work only once, by copying and paste the 'gameinfo.txt' from the 'tf' directory in the 'hl2' directory, and all i've manage to obtain was the menu with the text f*ckd up. then i tried to play and it crashes.

i've read every single post in the tf2 discussions and i solved anything.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!! GABEE!! DO YOU HEAR MEEEE?!
...and i was the only one between my friends to defend the PC as a console...f*ck

That's a common problem, it's very similar to "Gaben.exe failed to launch".

i tried to restart steam. i tried to delete team fortress 2 still didnt can u help me for this error?
