Oh god no.
Nobody EVER goes Pyro in Two Cities, unless it's Wave Seven of Barvarian Botbash.
You might want to go Scout or Heavy.
I have practiced pyro on several of the Boot Camp Waves and have found myself to be fine.
But my question was how long will it take?
Should take around 30 minutes.
30 minutes each Im assuming
I'm pretty sure you could speedrun through the waves.
You know...
Imagine a Competition. Any Number of Teams. Any Loadouts or classes available. Six Players per team.
They have to speed through an Entire Tour in the fastest time possible.
That would be kinda crazy but cool.
Ignore that, there's nothing wrong with Pyro in Two Cities. I've ran with Pyro plenty of times and we've destroyed each wave worse then spawn camping Blu on Dustbowl.
On the organized teams I've ran with on TCs, we were averaging anywhere from 30-40 minutes per mission.
Hitting 30 minutes means no goofing off, and having maybe 15-20 seconds for upgrade time between waves. Obviously no fails as well as burying everything up front. These are the same teams I've been on that we've done 23-25 minute expert missions
K, xD
What would be cool
Like, I'll give Pyro credit for Tank Busting, but there are no Tanks present in Mannhattan. Not to mention, While he can airblast bots into the pit, airblasting Giants into pits is going to be hell, simply due to that Knockback Reduction.
The biggest drawback about Pyro is that he doesn't have the Mad Milk Abilities of Scout, or can't supply Buff Banner boosts like Soldier can. He doesn't really have any Team-work related stuff. Other than that, Pyro is fine. I love Pyro.
The Tour Races.
Ill try Pyro in Twp Cities, being my MvM class, (my main is huntsman sniper) and if not Ill see if my friend can do Heavy instead as he is rather proficient at that and I'll do engineer as Im able to do that just as well as I can Pyro
Why the hell would you use a pyro to knock giants into pits when you can use a rage heavy?
People invest credits into that? wat.
Some people do. its a great backup ability in certain locations.
