"Not usable in crafting" items, do they have any use?
i have a few of these and really they're just taking up space at the moment. im assuming that even though crafting is out, that you can still apply a killstreak or strangifier or something but i dont know for certain. are there any uses for those items?

The only way I know to get something like that is to buy it from the Mann. Co store. But yes, you can modify them.
Yes, you can still paint them, strangify them, trade them, use them (lol). Basically the only thing you can't do with them is smelt them into scrap.

you can but the scrap becomes untradable after that

No, that's an item that's untradeable. An item that can't be used in crafting can't be used in crafting at all, meaning no scraping it.

well some dirty(uncraftable) items are worth more then the craftable one

can you apply a not usable in crafting item such as paint to another item such as a hat???

Some uncraftable items are rare

Uncraftable weapons can't be crafted into scrap, so you can't turn an Uncraftable Flamethrower and an Uncraftable Scorch Shot into a scrap. On the other hand, it has all the functionality of a normal weapon. As previously mentioned, it can be traded to other players like a normal item, and it can be used just like its normal counterpart. If anything, it just means you can scrap every extra craftable version you get since you can't lose the uncraftable one unless you actually try to. And as previously mentioned, it can be strangified and stuff.

usually non craftable weapons/cosmetics means you bought said item from the mann co store, which usually increases the item's value. so if you got any un-craftable weapons or cosmetics, you may earn a couple of extra ref when you trade it in! :crate:

however, keep in mind consumables loose this tag, which greatly devalues anything consumable related. so keep that in mind before trying to snag some stonks.
