About Game Theory's pyro thing

I'm not a hardcore fan of them. I like them, but I'm not a fanboy trust me (I hate fanboys). I just want to clear something up about the pyro theory.

What some people say is, they hate the video because it damaged the pyro and the community in a way. Everyone started saying it was fact. And they blame him for it and start looking for stupid things to complain about him. But wait a minute... the guy (matpat) says that it is "just a theory" at the end. Which tells me that although he may believe it to be true himself, he acknowledges that it could be wrong. He might have been a little clearer about that, but you can't deny that he knows it's not necessarily fact. In some of his videos, he even states that some things are up to us to decide based on what he said, and our own observations. So it really isn't his fault. The problem here, is the community. I don't know why the heck people simply accepted it as fact, because you can't. I'm not betting anything, but I'm PRETTY sure valve didn't mean to make him a gay male who is mentally ill (technically they just threw conflicting crap at it for internet publicity). So you can't blame matpat for doing this. The gamers were being idiots and assumed it to be true. Yell at them!

Also, based on the pyro probably not intended to be what he thinks, the pyro's mystery is not gone. There are other theories (of which I don't know the basis for) like the pyro is Scout's mom and others I'm sure. So there's NO WAY this is resolved.

I'm not looking for a flame war. If you start flaming or being a d-bag, you're clearly some unintelligent low life.

Anyways, if you had been on these forums for more than an year you might understand that it gets very annoying when every week we get the pyro gender threads with game theory fan who thinks pyro is gay male and gives "facts".
