Is Star_ and Jerma overated? (necro)

They are moderate players playing pubs and half the time I find them very irritating, especially Star_. There is much more talent out there but people (most likely their fanbase) say that he is the best player in TF2. Probably a sample of the horde of stupid F2P's. Also that "Shpeee" thing is really annoying like when stupid "skydoesminecraft" fans say budder all the ♥♥♥♥ing time.

If you mean as a youtube commentator, no they arent. They are only subscriped by persons who like their style and if you hear good things about them, theyve just done their job well. If you dont like them just dont watch them(you might not be the target audience).
But if you mean as tf2 player:

For Star_. Yes he is. But only by a minority, Star_ is really good, easily top 2% of players(meaning 1/50 might be better than him) and I mean easily but not top 5 tf2 players in the world or anything like that. But hes also underrated by some. I dont know why maybe they are just trying to make a point. some say hes bad and stuff, thats not true hes after all competive level player who has been in high level highlander as a sniper(though that level was too much for him). Still theres no way hes bad either.

As for Jerma. No, I dont think hes overrated. I dont see a lot people saying that hes good, simply, he isnt. But hes not bad either I would call him a above avarage tf2 player. Is that overrated? No.

Star and Jerma are not the best players in the world, but extremely likeable, especially together. Are people like Tagg and ma3la ten times better than them? Yeah, no on can deny that, but they don't have as likeable personalities. I've seen a person say that talking to Star was weird in real life but that's just one person, I'm sure Star's nice in real life though, but Jerma has said before he enjoys talking to fans and has always been relatable.

I love how you guys actually have a brain and realise that youtubers are there to brainwash people.
My opinion: I've only seen Star and I would say he's more than average. He's a good player but definitly not the best. Yet I didn't subscribbed to him since I need a more artistic approach to make me laugh. He's just not funny.

As youtubers it's obvious they have to aim for their target audiences, so others may not like it.

They are not overrated. They are entertaining for most people.

STAR_ is really good at Team Fortress 2, and at the same time, he has a goofy attitude. Sometimes there are times where he doesn't take things seriously but in the end he still wins.

Jerma is not as good as STAR_, can't really say much, but he has quite a good laughter.

STAR_ is not the best TF2 player, I've watched competitive matches in Youtube and found that they are way beyond STAR_'s level.

I suggest you keep your opinion to yourself. Except the budder from SkyDoesMinecraft, he really is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for me.

I like both of them. Though I do find it annoying how a lot of their fans treat their word as law in the game. And if you think other wise "Then you dont know what TF2 is all about!" or" you just dont like FUN!!!"

Whenever star makes a video about a certain thing like rockejumping or shield turning, or exploiting a glitch on a newer map, I know I'll have to stay away from TF2 for a couple of days because their will be tons of server filled with, Rocket jumping, shield bashing, glitch exploiting, players and I won't be able to do anything else.

So it's not really Star_ or jerma I have the problem with. It's the fans that hang on their every word.

I think they should prove it if they say that they are good. Hunt achievements quickly, get a supa large kill streak, become the best player off 10 maches in a row. If i say something i prove it... or AT LEAST TRY TO PROVE IT.

He is actually a pretty good player. Look, many people pub and if you are at the top 3 of each game you may not be actually top 10% but you're still pretty good and he is very good from what I can see. He is at a competitive gaming level for sure (don't kid yourself, the guy was doing well against the 'best' soldier of all time, TLR)

Don't really know anything about star besides the stuff I read on the forums about him, but I quite like Jerma. Amusing and interesting in their own way. Some of the things he talks about is just plain interestin.

Also, never heard of Jackseptic. That's a new one. Seen everyone else, though.

Also, why is Markiplier overrated? he's a nice guy, ain't he?
