Why is TF2 item servers always down for some people?

For the past month I have been having problems with my game and the item servers. Sometimes its even the whole game that i cant connect 2 and its not my internet or the computer I'm using. If anyone can tell me how to fix this that would be greatly helpful.

Well now, since the last patch, everyone is affected because of the steam API is down.

Yeah ive been getting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of lagspikes and sometimes cant connect to valve servers

Unfortunately, Valve's servers will always be ♥♥♥♥, and the API will almost always be down.

My item server is back online. But still takes year to switch loadout.

Like I've been playing tf2 for over a few years now on different account and just having fun, but nothing has happened like this before. I just hope they fix this when the pyro update comes out

well its easy steam is going to ♥♥♥♥ cant trade cant craft they dont care any morr it has been like thes for like 2 weeks or morr now

Like i do an unusual trading series and this puts it on such a hold that i might not be able to get it out on time.
