So i recently realized that scatter gun was better than force a nature (at least for me) so i really wanna custimize the scatter gun cause it looks s**t so is it paintable?

Guns aren't "paintable" in TF2 - only the cosmetics are.

You can get different skins for the Scattergun via the various Operation crates; you can buy them via the Steam Marketplace; or you can trade for them via sites like backpack.tf

but really OP, you can get some nice skins for dirt cheap
I got a battle scarred corsair scattergun (the default corsair is too bland, it needs some wear okay?) for 25 cents
I also got a minimal wear butcher bird minigun for 68 cents where factory new was I think just over a dollar at the time
wear isn't a big deal cosmetically (most of the time, there are exceptions) but it drops prices by a lot

The closest thing to paint for weapons are Specialized Killstreak Kits, which add a colorful sheen to your weapon.

Otherwise, look into Decorated Weapons, which have special skins of various colors, designs, and patterns.

No, You can't paint or customize the scatter gun by your choice.

But there's a reskins/skins selling on steam market over there, A lots of them. You'll see the heaven if you search em' up, many styles.

Get Decorated weapons. They look cool, are dirt cheap, and add more incentive to using stock weapons.
