In a completely non-competitive game mode that was a replacement for old pubs?
How is that justified? If you want a competitive atmosphere then play competitive. Otherwise you're at no liberty to complain about someone playing casually in a casual game mode.
Fixed it for you. I don't think that's justified.
It's "Team Fortress," not "Do Whatever You Want Fortress." If the majority of your team thinks you're a waste of a slot, they have every right to boot you.
Join a Hightower server.
I'll reiterate my point; if you want a competitive atmosphere with a team that will coordinate with you and actually play properly, then go to competitive. People should not have to be sweaty nerds IN A CASUAL GAME MODE IN THE MOST CASUAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FIRST PERSON SHOOTER THAT HAS LITERALLY EVER EXISTED.
When MYM came out, everyone was whining and complaining about Casual but people are creatures of habit and eventually got used to Casual. You can still mess around with the Rocket Jumper, but your best bet is just to go to Hightower. Other maps, good luck. Most people are expecting to win nowadays.
So you still think that it's justified to kick someone because they're having fun with the rocket jumper?
Can any of you comprehend how autistically sweaty you have to be to take casual seriously? TF2 is already literally the most casual first person shooter that has ever existed, and in the casual game mode, people should be expected to be on their a-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-game and be a tryhard nerd?
If that's the general consensus these days then I can't actually be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to keep playing dude.
If you want an atmosphere where you can mess around and do whatever you want, there are a number of pseudo-TDM maps that nobody plays the objective on. The vast majority of community servers also have that atmosphere.
A casual match on Upward simply isn't that. If you aren't contributing whatsoever, people aren't going to see you as much better than an AFK.
IT
IS
CASUAL
Like, do people not understand what the definition of casual is? Are you capable of reading? Is your english comprehension up to par?
Good.
No. Just because you got away with being an inconsiderate ♥♥♥♥, didn't mean no-one else was irked by it.
The game has been an adversarial team-based competition since the day it was created.
The fact that a bunch of scrubby F2Ps flooded the game en masse, and turned it into a creche just because they were too poor or ignorant to get Garry's Mod instead, isn't a justification of how bad the vanilla experience had become.
Hyperbolic nonsense. They don't *know* what your maximum potential is; the problem is you not playing in a manner that meets the bare requirements for consideracy.
Before you play any map for the first there is a clear explanation of what the round's objective is, presented via the projector.
"Casual" does not mean "there's no objective or goal" - and there is not a single game in the world where this is otherwise.
If you are looking for a social / openworld situation, there's community servers, trade plazas, etc. THOSE are running the game-modes you are thinking of.
No, what's sad is entitled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ handicapping their team and acting like it's their god given right to screw over a server of potentially 23 other people.
Good, hopefully it will pass enough for you to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself.
