although, it is stated the soldier is in his late 40s, early 50s. And that he went on a nazi killing spree in the 40s, yet he looks 40 today. Do the classes have extended life-spans like the administrator? o.o

I think Soldier is just too stupid to realize that he should be aging in the first place.

TF2 took place in the summer of 1968 up until MvM. 4 years have passed since Gray Mann killed Redmond and Blutarch and took over the world, which leaves us in roughly the autumn/winter of 1972. The TF Comic series takes place in 1973, and the story itself begins sometime in the 1860s with the discovery of Australium, a material that sprung Australia into the 21st century 200 years early, giving them incredible strength, mustaches, and general insanity.

Not out of the question given Australium's natural life-extending properties. They're just exploited to make nearly endless life extenders like the ones the Mann brothers and Helen have.

70s.

Soldier went on a killing spree in Germany.
Heavy escaped USSR Russia.
The posters, decor etc look like their from the 60s.
Fat computers, tape recorders, and those plastic buttons you see on mall kiddie rides instead of advanced tech.

i feel as it took place in another dimension

where rocket jumping is not actually death, random critcal hits appear, different new weapons with actual stats, death is not imment and you can respawn all the time
