Team Fortress 2
Are Strange Unusuals worth it over a normal Unusual?
Is a Strange Unusual worth the extra amount that you pay for it over the normal unusual? Example: 20 key Unusual vs Strange Unusual 30 keys?

I've tried to figure it out if it being Strange is more worth it? I mean, most of the Strange Cosmetic Parts to add to it are quite pricey, and the only other benefit is that it counts points? Curious to what others thoughts are about this?

There are strangifiers for hats so being strange doesn't add to certain hats.

Idk I’ve never gotten an unusual even though I’ve unboxed like 30 crates

Those Strangifiers only work on older hats though, not newer ones? Do they not?

You can add ANY strange part to a cosmetic, not just the few that are for them specifically.

strange cosmetics are a joke, they count points earned but they don't mean anything since it works in servers where it shouldn't and some classes are better than others at racking up points.

It’s depends on the effect but yes

By that logic, no strange of any kind is "worth" anything because you can just go to an idle server and max it out in an afternoon. Why would cosmetics be any different?

They're more for the owner of the item than anyone, though I do give most people the benefit of the doubt in uncletopia servers at least. I find it mildly interesting to see how many points, kills, etc people have on their stranges.

You can farm points on uncletopia like it was an idle server tho, you just have to play the right class, kills are harder to achieve than points.
