Chances are, no! Whatever patch that people are talking about, its just yet another band-aid not a permanent fix.

of course not, TF2 is diseased, rotten to the core. There's no saving it. We Need to Pull it out by the Roots! Wipe the Slate CLEAN! BURN IT DOWN!
AND FROM THE ASHES A NEW TF2 WILL BE BORN!
EVOLVED. BUT UNTAMED

people should definitely be screnshotting the bots that spam to "buy immunity" and posting on the official tf2 twitter about it because it violates ToS and them not doing anything about that would surely make them look bad

Team fortress 2's code might be a little messed up from such a long time of various patches and fixes for things, We probably don't know just what state the game is actually in.

It plays ok for most but deep down it might cost a lot of time and money to fix things.

Might be easier making a new game than trying to fix it.

Kinda yea

If Tyler McVicker is anything to go by. Says apparently more fix updates in the works via contractors Valve hired. These same folk only hired on cause some folk in the office wanted the game fixed but until a huge social movement, valve knowing of these issues were all "naaaaaah"

Wait and see still for more, but for now, least much easier to yeet bots and get matches

cheaters basically killed the game like a parasite, they will never leave it alone, if valve is not doing anything to aimbots for more than a decade eventually they erode the game from bottom, most servers use aimbots and hacks, free accounts are able to cheat, join servers and post on forums so they basically eroded the entire community of all valve games.
Tf2 was already on the way out regardless of bots and cheaters

At this point, it would be better to pull the plug and rebuild the game from the ground up as TF3. I can imagine that TF2's spaghetti code is difficult to work with

he is not judging by his previous track record on the bot crisis and his reports, such as tf2 getting an overwatch and trust factor system in a future update, again, not corroborated over a year later, and that people at valve are working on a pet project update for tf2 the size of blue moon, another claim that, again, has not been corroborated over a year later.

No lol, and apparently the updates are messing up games now
honestly the fact that we got valve to respond, got an update, and have seen a decrease in bots (at least in the US) is way more than I ever expected of the movement. I'm pleasantly suprised
probably not
