theres not really a difference. one lets you pipe bomb jump, other has better range
At least the Loose Cannon is interesting and experimental.
The only practical difference is that it makes grenade jumping easier. However, there's a dozen more interesting options when it comes to mobility for Demoman.
I've never heard or seen such a thing. Are there any references you can post?
