And maybe compromised Steam accounts.
From a chat I had with him a few months back he mentioned that he runs everything off a couple laptops. So he is probably not paying for a VPS or dedicated server.
I would guess it probably costs a couple hundred dollars, maybe more or less, for a bunch of premium mic spamming accounts to mix in with as many free accounts as your computer can run. Then factor in the cost of electric, internet, etc. I am guessing a VPN too since some of the community server ban lists have the more known bots logged on different IPs/Countries. Small price to pay for months or years of entertainment, if thats your cup of tea.
I think its a lot less costly than most people expect it to be.
If you talk to him again call him a wet brained child toucher for me.
Briefly. Its not hard to find the more known bot hoster's primary alt accounts. Most of them don't use the same name as their bots, but its still pretty obvious.
They only pay for the undetected cheat I assume, lma0box or whatever.
There's no public undetected cheat for TF2, I have searched as much as I could.
I assume the linux version of tf2 just don't have vac on it.
There is, look up "c a t h o o k" on github
