What's so bad about being edgy?

I mean I know the stereotype, but there are some people who can't take me equipping the last breath and wrath wrap because of they're "edgyness" I don't get it, I never taunt after kill, smac talk or anything negative in causal, is it a my choice of cosmetic problem or is the the other haters, because honestly, I may sound hipcritical, but if we want to be a good community, stereotyping shouldn't decide who u are as a person in game and in the real world... (P. S : no I am not edgy, I swear, people need to stop assuming because of cosmetics of choice)

From what I've heard, there's actually tons of different ways to say 'death' in Latin

In a ridiculous game like TF2 where one of the characters litteraly eats a sandwich in the middle of a firefight and another uses a jar of urine as a weapon, seeing someone make such a serious cosmetic set and name their sniper rifle “genocide” and treating the game like some gothic vampire shooter seems extremely odd.

The edgy stereotype is there because there's people in middle school who don't have enough attention so they try and make themselves look "cool" by equipping "dark" cosmetics and using names that are either: Death, Blood, Reaper, Darkness, or Despair in either latin, spanish, greek, or another language that isn't english. Followed by buying dead reckoner Mk.II warpaints and putting it on every single weapon.
