is aimlab recommended for practicing sniper aim?

aimlab should be good but dont expect all of the aimbot aim you develop to automatically carry over to the game. basically pick any sniper rifle zoom in practice maps ya can

Any sort of aim training will result in improvement as long as you’re not going about it stupid.
To answer your question, yes. Aim trainers (aim labs in your case) will help with your sniper aim. With that being said, aimlabs is a training aid, and should not supplement actual ingame practice. Use it to improve certain aspects of your aim but do not be surprised when your skill doesn’t directly translate to tf2 skill.
