Ads on TF2 Community Servers
So, I have a question, can Ads (usually it pop up when you die, or when you join a server) give you a virus?

This ads are usually something like: "Download in 3 seconds"

You can get a virus downloading content from community servers though

you can turn off html in your settings, havent seen an ad in 4 years

I dont believe so. Vac only bans based on hacks/cheats

As far as I know, you cannot download files from the MOTD browser, therefore you cannot get a virus. !giveitems is a server-side command that triggers achievements for you that will grant items. Because the server is doing it, you can't get VAC banned.
