Low FPS on GTX 1060

i have maximum 100 fps , sometime it drops to 30 ... when i used gt 630 on same pc i got 200+ fps but now with same pcu and stuff i have low fps , wtf ? :( i updated drivers .. scanned for viruses , checked gpu usage etc .. still nothing

i have high fps in games like bf1 and overwatch so ..

i5 3470

i already used same system with less powerful gpu and still now i got less fps ..

It's most likely just tf2 not being optimized for high end gpus, it's pretty common to hear people complain about how they can't run the game decently despite having a great machine, I doubt there is much you can do beside getting a beefier CPU or changing you gpu back.

well i started tf2 from nvidea experience , it changed resolution + settings , everything is at high and i have 150-200 fps so its good and i dont have problem anymore :)

yes but i had bad gpu + same cpu and got 200 fps , now i have awesome gpu + same pcu and lower fps ...

Honest answer: Most of Source is rendered from the CPU, having a m-d-grade CPU, but a high-grade GPU means that TF2 will only give you mid-grade CPU performance.
