It's a viewmodel mod called overhaul animations.

Why not just type this in console.

cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1

With this you can see how your guy sees the world from his own eyes.

Can even see your own cosmetics such as clothes, pants, shoes and so on.

In other words you can see your guys body and legs.

It is not the same but it is super cool. Makes the game have more depth in it.

But everyone likes there own stuff I know.

It really just looks bad, and you run into issues like not seeing your viewmodel, the viewmodel hitting you in the face, getting in the way of your view, unusual effects blocking your view, etc

The minmode viewmodels are basically just a better compromise between a world viewmodel and a model that is actually designed for first person in the first place.

I must be lucky. I never ran into any of those problems. Only thing it ever did for me was let me see my characters whole body from his point of view.

I must be lucky. I never ran into any of those problems. Only thing it ever did for me was let me see my characters whole body from his point of view.
It looks okay... on a few classes. If you only play those classes, then that's fine, but I don't think it's a proper solution if it doesn't work for every class.
