Do you think instead of RNG weapon sways, actual recoil patterns should be added to the game?
In TF2, weapons have no vertical recoil. When shooting, you don’t need to compensate for vertical recoil unlike most FPS games. However just because there is no recoil doesn’t mean every single gun in the game is a %100 accurate laser beam. Weapons instead have random and unpredictable sway, shooting constructive shots will result in few of your bullets flying above, below, or next to your cross hair. Instead of this, would you prefer pre determined recoil patterns for weapons? (For example, shooting the ambassador without compensating would result in swaying it to the right and going upwards a bit, player has to move their mouse in order to compensate for the recoil and pull off accurate shots. Which in my opinion would add skill ceilings for weapons, rewarding players you can control its recoil.) I know this is a really similar debate to the “Should random crits be removed?” and I’m fully aware that TF2 is more of a casual game (mainly) so I decided ask and learn what other people think about this ideas.

Go back to CS. TF2 isn't like most fps games because it's like an arena shooter

No, it's not because TF2 "is more of a casual game". TF2 is just less aim-heavy game and more movement, positioning, prediction and teamwork game. Just less emphasis on pure aim skills but more other complex mechanics. TF2 is more like a quake than counter strike.
FPS does not need to be realistic to be deep and skillful.

This game isn't meant to be a realistific shooter. That much should be obvious since it advertises things like Blast Jumping with explosive weapons in it...

recoil is annoying and adds nothing to the game

jokes aside, the weapons that exist in tf2 are mostly single shot so recoil wouldn't really do much but annoy the user
