I remember TF2 used to be like this. (My Speech: Stand like a Fortress)

I remembered this TF2 skyrim parody trailer video when I was young and it gives me amazement and inspiration to play the game. It was a time when TF2 was fun and had many best moments of my life as well. Over the years of playing this game, the players including myself have been experiencing this whole cheaters and bot crisis. There were bots specifically causes servers to lag, Bots that mic spam the team, and cheaters who don't give a damn about teamwork on this game.

Even though Valve has been doing a slight good progress on combating this crisis, I have heard and witnessed bots and hackers using hate to spread it on the gaming community on the society that we try and forget about. With this situation that we are living in, It has driven most of us into a state of depression and insanity. Confusing us on whose right and whose wrong.

This community doesn't need negativity or hate, it needs cooperation, hope, and a chance to laugh as well. The people that want to destroy our community may shatter our bodies, but they can not break our spirit. The bots that we are fighting against are created by people like us, they are computers who know nothing but to take orders. They're not invincible, they're nothing but machines that can be broken down and recycled.

This much I vow, I will not know when this crisis will end but I can assure you all this: TF2 will be in our hearts forever. To goofy taunts from catchy quotes it is like our favorite masterpiece. But for me I'm leaving this game very soon. I do not know when I will return, but all of you must show other communities. Heck, maybe even the world that this game stood like a Fortress.

Hopefully, Valve will step up from their slumber and combat this situation entirely.

Please have faith in this community, have faith in those around you, and stand like a Fortress.

What you've written resonates with my views, but I had to take the time to sort out my response. When I first attempted to make my mark on the community, I wrote a speech that had the same goals as yours: Uniting the community and decimating the issues that plagued the game. I was, at the time, ignored.
I support what you're saying, we as the community are divided.
But I can also tell you that no amount of clear benefit will convince parts of this community to work together, I've learned that the hard way.
At this point, words will do nothing. Rallying players is near guaranteed failure.
If you want to save this game, you need to take action. You need to start working and then share your results. People will join you at that point, I know this.
And I'll be happy to support your work.

I appreciate the support, and I know this isn't enough to make the community listen, but just to those who are losing hope and think this game is dying (which is not). I would be grateful if people just listened and have some sense about the situation that we are currently in right now. But worry not, we will get through this.
