And for a good reason too apperantly.
Stop playing the game for at least 6 months.
If you are truly addicted, and that the gambling is causing any type of issues for you in your life, whether that be minor or major things, please seek help. It may not seem like it'd do much, but it is a starting point and it will put you in the right mindset.
Block yourself off of all gambling sites and block your payment methods for these sites, and even Steam if you really can't control yourself.
But the most important thing is: YOU must want change. No one will get you out of it. If you are determined, you will make it out, but if you let the lust for gambling get to you, you'll fail. Learn your triggers, what triggers your need for gambling? Boredom? Stress? Gambling ads? Try to avoid and then manage those triggers. It's possible.
Personally I had to reach a breaking point of complete mental breakdown before I could stop. Don't take it that far. Good luck!
