Real talk though, market gardner is OP, just like most melee unlocks.
How is it fair to give soldier a free double damage rocket in his pocket at no cost?
Also for the all the talk about "engagement" and "deathmatching" there's absolutely nothing engaging about a guy jumping at you and 1-shotting you.
If the market gardner has to exist, there should at least be a reasonable downside, 20% firing speed and random crits is literally nothing.
the meme spoon is fine as is, git gud B)
i fail to understand how a clumsy melee swing is "free" even if we assume perfect execution on these
but surprisingly has a pinch of truth
now laugh
Hitting someone with your melee while rocket jumping is incredibly risky. You WILL achieve most likely the same results by simply bombing with your rockets instead of whipping out your melee.
You could be running the escape plan, but choosing a inherently unreliable and niche tech option (which mind you most of the time necessitates you dedicating your loadout to it in order to be a genuine threat).
Its a joke weapon, you actively have to dedicate your loadout to it for it to be effective, and running it along with anything else only makes it a downgrade from stock, while also removing the option for the amazing utility that is the escape plan.
