I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game community as stupid as the tf2 community. Instead of people muting children because they don’t like thier voice, they start stupid arguments with them and talk ♥♥♥♥ towards them. Are y’all for real right now, you can’t just mute them? It takes no effort whatsoever. Are y’all that stupid? Are you trying to make yourself look like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Do you have nothing else to do but start stupid arguments with and talk ♥♥♥♥ towards children? People like you make me sick, these children are just trying to have fun and play a game, and you have to ruin it? The issue with muting people when you intend to use the mic yourself is that you risk speaking over them.

yea i started playing tf2 in august 2020, and literally the first thing I did was disable voice chat. so I've never had it enabled at all since i started playing tf2

its good cuz i can't hear kids, or cant even hear people arguing with the kids. and can't hear ppl micspamming. which those 3 things make up for like 95% of mic comms in casual games
