Sprays are invisible no matter what I do

I have,
"Allow all custom assets from server" enabled
"Disable sprays" Disabled
A brand new computer with a fresh Install of TF2

What I have already done,
cl_playerspraydisable 0; r_spray_lifetime 99999; r_decals 99999; mp_decals 99999; r_decal_cullsize 1; r_decalstaticprops 1; r_drawmodeldecals 1; r_drawbatchdecals 1; cl_allowdownload 1; cl_allowupload 1

I have joined multiple community servers, I see the Icon that shows WHO sprayed what where, but all sprays are invisible. I can't see my own spray and nobody can see mine neither.

I've checked around already and I couldn't find one, this was after I verified my files integrity, so I made my own folder just called "temp" in the materials folder but that didn't help.

I think sprays were disabled in Casuala while back. You can still see your own, but not others'

You can only see your own sprays and ones you’ve already downloaded before hand in casual. They disable downloading content from other clients like sprays, which is why they’re all invisible.

I think most community servers have a timed decal wipe since a round could potentially last long enough for people to create 2,048+ bullet holes/sprays in the server. That's why when I've been in a community server for a long time, all the sprays I saw turn into the default alpha channel texture.

But if you mean you can't see a spray when you just joined and someone sprays one in front of you, then idk, I'd like to find a fix too.

R_decals 18 worked out for me . I really thought there was no solution till that

Casual has sprays disabled with no workaround. Those settings exist purely for community server unfortunately

Technically no. See... the funny thing is Casual servers never 'disabled' sprays, they simply disabled the download of applied sprays. What does that mean? It means that if somehow you came across a spray in a community server that is currently in your temp folder, and then someone later in a casual server applies that same spray, you will see the spray.

For folks who've set their config to never purge the temp folder, you'll once a blue moon see a spray in casual servers. So just use the most popular ones and catch a fool off guard with it.

Been having this exact same problem lately. Tried pretty much every fix and nothing worked.
Reinstalling my game helped for like, a single game then went back to not working.
