Team Fortress 2
Why are there so many bots named dlive.tv/ghostpolitics?
I'm playing TF2 for the first time in about a month, and every server I've been on has at least 3 of them. Does anyone know why? I know TF2 has had a bot problem for the large part of this year, and I remember that all of them were named similarly to each other. Could it be that this is just another wave?

Either someone dislikes this "Ghost Politics" dude and fired up a set of VMs with the bots on it, or they think it's possible publicity by getting someone to discuss it, kind of like how it's up in the air whether or not the Nword bots were there because of someone that thinks it was funny, or the entirely more possible, because it immediately came with waves demanding chat censorship that it was a means to get censorship put in.

Makes sense. When I first saw them, I looked up whoever that fellow was, and it appeared that they were offline, even though there were about five of the bots. So, I don't think that the bots are particularly owned by a Mr./Mrs. "ghost Politics." The bot all have the same profile picture, to include the, "Ghost Politics" fellow in question. The bots are also more than just sniper, I've seen multiple Soldier bots with the same name and profile picture, and even. a Heavy. So, I think you are right, it most likely is just some sort of marketing tactic

Either interpretation is reasonable.

For those unaware, Ghost Politics is the reincarnation of True Capitalist Radio, a "right-wing" internet radio show infamous for having a host who reacted really negatively to trolling and is basically a classic lolcow. So it's likely this is a convoluted troll. But considering right-wing radio attracts loonies, it's also likely a attempt to garner negative publicity.

The bots usually have names of famous TF2 YouTuber or Famous twitch streamers to make them get death threats and reputation but usually the bots link the creator cheating YouTube channel or twitch.
