1. Put your crosshair in a place where an enemy's head will be, and when their head goes underneath your crosshair, fire.
Btw i have no idea what is 'guitar hero aim'
2. I recommend playing on a training map, called 'tr_walkway.' That map provides you with everything you need, not just sniper.
3. Try doing warmups, by playing in Training mode with bots. I always do this before I hop onto a Casual server, helps most of the time.
4. When fighting other snipers, always keep moving. This is where practicing can really help, because moving is the key factor in winning sniper duels besides just having a faster trigger finger.
5. Dont get irritated when you lose sniper duels. There will be alot of snipers who will be better than you. Instead, take this as a way to practice fighting tougher snipers.
1. Guitar Hero Aim
Putting your crosshair where you think the enemy's head will go, and clicking when the head meets the crosshair. Ideally this is what you should do for most of your shots.
2. Flick Aim
Flicking your crosshair towards the enemy's head. Use this type of aim for shots that require a quick reaction that guitar hero aim otherwise would result in a missed shot.
3.Tracking
Moving your crosshair with the enemy's head, and clicking once the two line up. Not as good as guitar hero aim, but more versatile than flick aim.
Bodyshots are acceptable, but as Thanos said, you should've gone for the head.
