Which dxlevel should I use for low end pc?

I have a low cpu (3.2 GHz/cores) and a low gpu (ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB) I saw a forum that said this but didn't really go in detail about which you should use for low end pc's. (I have 16 gb memory and a TB of storage and I use Ethernet with 300 mb download and 700 mb upload)

dxlevel 80 = best option for fps, but not stable
dxlevel 81 = almost just as good for fps but a lot more stable
dxlevel 90 = less fps but higher quality graphics
dxlevel 95 = could help fps compared to 91, could hurt, depends on your gpu (the default also)
dxlevel 98 = highest quality but only a bit better than 90/95 with a lot less fps

I've been using dxlevel 95 because I saw in a random video that said to just use it without giving any reason. plz help, I get around 35-40 fps and it sucks (should I use dxlevel 80 for more fps? what does it mean that it's not stable? Should I use 81 instead? or is 95 the best I can get?

-dxlevel 95 -w 1920 -h 1080 -novid

i have 2gb vram and a med end pc but i use geforce experience and let it decide the best settings i would recommand looking for such softwares in amd's website i'm pretty sure they exist

idk man i use dx level 81 bc im using a 2009 pentium so yk kinda hard to do anything here but i recommend staying with dx lvl 81 and use mastercomfig

Nvm I just used dxlevel 81 and I’m getting 60-100 fps :D

actually, when I played on badwater I would be getting 60-100 fps, but when I played on snakewater I was getting 15-20 fps. using dxlevel 81

Install mastercomfig with the low preset:

Replace those launch options with -dxlevel 80 , run the game once, quit, then delete it and replace with these instead:
-novid -nojoy -nosteamcontroller -nohltv -particles 1 -precachefontchars -noquicktime

Also if you have 2 or less GB of system RAM, download the Low memory addon when downloading mastercomfig.

No fam, that’s low memory, I have 16 gb of memory, just 2 core (I already tried it, it crippled my fps,)

You have 16gb of ram
16 is not less than 2
therefore you shouldn't use the addon
