Is it possible to reset achievements?
For a while now, I've been wanting to regain certain achievement items like the Spiral Sallet and Horseman's Headtaker. A few years ago, I foolishly got rid of them via different means; trade-up during Halloween, achievement server bugs, among other things. If I could reset my achievements, I could get a fresh start and feel better about the achievements I have. Is there a way to do so, and if so, how is it done?

Yes it is possible and I've done it, however you will not get achievement items a second time if you have already received them in the past.

You can reset achievements through TF2's menu, click a button at the bottom of the menu that is between the graduation hat and chat box icons (it looks like a spiky circle), this will open up the achievements menu where you'll find all achievements and also a button that resets them all.

You can use steam achievement manager to un-achieve achievements, but I'm not certain if TF2 will recognize you earning them for a second time.

Also, keep in mind that VAC considers SAM a cheat, and will ban you if it detects it running.
Do your own research if you're interested in dabbling into it, educate yourself on the risks and so on.

May I ask what SAM stands for? Is that Steam Achievement Manager?

Know the risks beforehand, you can't appeal VAC bans.

For TF2 achievements, you don't even need to use SAM since the option to reset achievements has been in the game for years now. But as stated, resetting won't help because you aren't going to gain achievement items again.
