Nerf Bodyshots
There is nothing more annoying than getting full Uber and having your hard work erased by some idiot with a sniper rifle who fully charged a shot and body shot you. It takes no skill to body shot, and 150 damage is too much. Needs a nerf.

Sniper should be nerfed, we know. For now hide behind your Heavy boyfriend.

I for one agree. The Scout is the only class a fully-charged body shot should be able to take down due to his speed (with stock rifle). It just seems odd that you could eliminate many classes with a body shot when you're meant to prioritize aiming for the head.

As a medic, you're already a walking bull's eye for every single class, not just sniper. When your medigun is all nice and glowie, it makes that target over your head metaphorically glow too. You should expect that anyone and everyone is out to get you, and account for it.

Be aware of sniper sightlines and where they're aiming, check the scoreboard and see if they're dead or not. Don't challenge sniper sightlines, or if that's not an option pop before you peek your head out.

Sniper has been countering meds now for 13 years and the game's still playable, you gotta learn to adapt.

I feel the current values of charged damage are completely useable, the only time i see someone complaining about a body shot is another sniper who constantly complains about it. the time it takes to charge makes the sniper very exposed to fire, even then nerfing something that hasnt been complained for in 12 or so years is kinda dumb if you ask me.

Bodyshots aren't a problem. It takes 3.3s for a Sniper to charge up to 100%, and 2.8s if it's the Sydney Sleeper. That should be enough time to find cover or use your teammates as meatshields unless you're standing out in the open like a bloody idiot. Even Machina body collaterals can be avoided by staying behind cover until after he fires.

Now, it's holding a charge indefinitely that's the problem since you can just hold onto those 150-450 shots for however long you want.

if nerf bodyshots, sniper is usefull aimbot or useless sniper

No. A kill is a kill, doesn’t matter where they shot you.

Quoted for truth.

Dirty Bomb tried nerfing bodyshots, and it was a mess. "The community" was upset that two of the game's sniper mercs (Vassili and Aimee) had sniper rifles powerful enough to not-quite one shot the weakest classes in the game with bodyshots. It allowed them to pick off wounded players from across the map without headshots. Or it would scare people into taking cover. Under rare circumstances, Aimee could use her +25% damage tool to one-shot some enemy medics and one of the engineers (Proxy). But it was uncommon.

The debate went like this:

Community: NERF BODY SHOTS NO SKILL
Rational people: Teams with snipers that bodyshot tend to lose matches more than if the snipers headshot or if they just play some other merc.
Community: NERF BODY SHOTS TOO EZ
Rational people: but . . . body shotting makes your team lose . . .
Community: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So they started changing headshot multipliers for various long-range weapons and it was a God-awful mess. Later, the game went tits-up for numerous reasons. Doesn't really matter anymore.

TF2 isn't so different. If your team has body shotting Snipers, odds are good that said Sniper is not carrying his weight unless he's using the Sydney Sleeper (and it still does more damage with headshots, in addition to refilling Jarate). If a Sniper is picking you off with body shots, it means you spent too much time in a sightline AND nobody on your team is harassing the obvious Sniper who is treating your team like it's a shooting gallery.

a cheap kill

And this is worse than being hit by a random crit that ruins that same work?

Snipers that charge up their shots are sitting ducks, that doesn't need any nerfing. Move around more
