Fists of steel contract help

[Dust in my bowel movement]

"Block 500 damage as Heavy" Cant really understand how this works, I already managed to to do the take 1000 damage as heavy part of the contract but i enever got any points towards this part of the contract. Do I need to have the fist of steel out while iam doing this?

The fists of steel make projectiles less powerful, you need to take damage (with fists out) from projectiles
