1000+ Days since last Major Update.
I dont know what to say, this is just Incredible, incredible Sad.
Has this been the longest drought yet?

We need Content, the Game is still alive (even thought by his Community), and has multiple Thousands of Players.

Now, our Bot Crisis, Valve „Fixed“ the Mic and Chat Spam, so thats a Start.. and now?
Will an Huge Update Ban all the Accounts?

Not to forget.. hasnt Valve Announced.„First Winner gets an Update“ between Pyro and Heavy? So, VALVE, where is our HEAVY update?

Comment your Opinion, if you like.

I, personally, would be fine with only minor updates of TF2 in the future. This minor support is best for valve and ok for us players. I would be overjoyed if we get major ones. The game is good enough to stay alive for a while with no updates. The trick with TF2 at this point is to just not let your hopes up at all. These bots are pretty innocuous in the grand scheme of things if put under control. At least causal still has its moments.

lol
Blue Moon was less than 850 days ago and was of a similar size to major updates.

That was just new cosmetics n stuff wasnt it?not a big update like inferno.
Reworked how the flamethrower works. Rebalanced 21 weapons. Reworked 3 weapons. Many bug fixes and minor improvements.

Reworked how the flamethrower works. Rebalanced 6 weapons. Reworked 3 weapons. WAY more bug fixes and minor improvements.

Other than Jungle Inferno adding a few easily forgotten weapons that no one ever equips, it wasn't really much bigger than Blue Moon.

blue moon was in 2018 but apparently if it doesn't have a random theme its not a major update

Let's forget blue moon happened because it sounds more dramatic to say 1000 days. WOW! Volvo has completely f o r g o t t e n this game. I must whine endlessly about this. :)

Valve never said heavy was getting the next update after pyro won the vote.
This, they never promised it.

They said it's "highly likely" that both will have an update. They also said it'll "happen at some point."

Isn't it weird that everyone who says Valve never promised the Heavy update joined after Jungle Inferno? It's almost like they're completely unfamiliar with the TF blog and interpret a blatant joke literally.

if it is a joke then it proves that they never promised a heavy update

The opposite of what you just said is true.
