Dude. This is a general forum about TF2 where anything relating to the game can be posted so someone posted about the death of a professional player. Nobody thinks Yomps' life matters more than anyone else, they just wanted to let TF2 players know that a professional TF2 player died in a TF2 general forum.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on what is and isn't the concern of TF2 players. I don't see how it's any of our business that someone died in TF2. This should have been shared in a more intimate setting.

What do you want us to do then? He shouldn't have informed us about yomps's death?

People who actually care about Yomps should have been informed about this death. It should not have been shared with everyone in TF2.

Then it would still have gotten around anyway, they chose to tell people and I don't see anything wrong with that.

B4nny's twitter page is his domain, and the people that visit that page likely had some kind of connection or reverence for Yomps, thus the information is relevant to them.

It's not relevant to the general TF2 community, it's really none of our business and it shouldn't be presented to us as if it is our business.

His friends and family should be able to grieve in peace without dealing with a whole online response.
