RaysHud problems
I downloaded rayshud. It partially works, but some parts don't work/show. My home screen has the backround, font, and border, but not other parts. When I play, only the font really works, but that kinda messes up the ammo count. I've looked all over google, steam, turned off and on in game hud options, reinstalled it, but nothing works. I saw one post with the same problem as me, but the discussion didn't go any further.

Don't know. That's why I'm so pissed about it

Maybe you're using an outdated version?

From the screenshots all I can suggest is, remove all files you've put in the tf2 folder and reinstall rayshud all together. (All files as in all rayshud files)

Where did you download it?

First, check with the RaysHUD Steam Group for help. CriticalFlaw could help.

Second, there are two RaysHUDs. The original one by Ray, which is very outdated, and the current one by CriticalFlaw, which is doing well.

Third, make sure when you are dragging the files, you are dragging "rayshud-master", the main folder, and NOT the content in it. Otherwise, you will have a messy HUD. Huds.tf says you always drag the folder that has the materials and resources folders, but NOT the folders itself.

Hope this helps.

Downloaded it off teamfortress.tv, i've deleted the entire folder before and reinstalled it before, and I don't know if tf.tv has a current version.

Also I don't remember seeing a rayshud master folder

It's best to get any custom hud from Huds.tf. Other sites have a chance of them being outdated or not being able to work on TF2, so always check the release date AND the last updated date.

Do remember that there are currently two RaysHUDs as I mentioned, with CriticalFlaw's being the most recent and reliable. Open the folder, copy+paste/drag the "rayshud-master" folder to your custom TF folder. It should work.

If not, go to the RaysHUD Steam group for more help.

ok I'll try that

I deleted what I had in my rayshud folder, installed just the hud off huds.tf since I can't open the page for the launcher, transfered the folders over, and it's still the same

I remember seeing an installing guide saying you need win.rar...
Charlie5L Sep 19, 2017 @ 2:54pm
For me, being on Windows 10, it already allows you to open zipped folders without using WinZIP.

Any zipped files can be opened on said Windows 10, but .rar requires you to have WinZIP. (or WinRAR, however you call it)
